Ryan Mims, DVM
Dr. Mims, a second-generation veterinarian, was born and raised in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He received his DVM degree from Oklahoma State University. His love for veterinary medicine originated from several years working alongside his father; Dr. Roger Mims, a highly sought DVM in rural Oklahoma.
Dr. Ryan Mims went on to own an equine sports medicine practice in Oklahoma. Time spent with several veterinarians in Parker County eventually led him to becoming an associate veterinarian at 113 Equine.
He and his wife Mikella, now reside with their horses and dog, Tre, in Lipan, Texas. In their free time you will often find this husband-and-wife duo in the arena themselves. Dr. Mims’ mission is to glorify God by serving others; this passion is fulfilled by taking care of horses while helping their owners and trainers achieve their dreams.
